PACER (Judge's decision re: digEcor expenses)

posted on Jun 18, 2008 06:46PM

The judge has ruled that EDIG owes digEcor $9,574.10 for digEcor's expenses at filing a motion to compel EDIG to provide those thousands of documents (doc 145). The original amount requested by digEcor was $14,187.50, then they lowered it to $12,730.00. The judge gave them 75% of that figure plus a small research fee.

Can't wait for this harrassment suit by digEcor to be in our rear view mirror. BOW is one vindictive SOB. I WOULD LOVE for EDIG to prove BOW shared their proprietary data in the digEplayer XT. The recent subpoenas issued by EDIG to Decuir, Inc; Triad Engineering; Wolf Electronix; Ray Henson; Ken Clark; Phillip Maddalosso; and Webster Barth should be interesting. If proven, I hope EDIG goes after BOW loaded for bear...after we win a few infringement lawsuits of course. LOL.
