If file attributes of Flashplayer where being managed by e.Digital it would be managed within the memory which can be a...flash chip...hdd... optical disk...etc

The Flashplayer application delivers a visualisation in a different manner than standard bitmap image frames in creating animation.

It's a much more complex vector based imaging process...

An application will always have to be present to render....which means the overhead(RAM resource and processor environments) to run it will always be there. The service e.Digital would manage would be between the App and whatever particular overhead it requires and the flashchip(memory) environment.

Perhaps in the future, when the long life nonvolatile memories come out, it can be managed from one memory environment.
