Some of us have to use a little common sense...

All this hoopla about licensing without knowing what DM and EDig means by that term is "whistling past the graveyard".
I was told by RP not long ago and it has posted here and reposted that EDig is only going to accept a settlement, one time payment...etc.....There are not going to be any monthly payments from anyone.
Using common sense should tell you DM would not be interested in settling with an infringers for "licensing fees" for misusing EDig's Ip when the doggone patents run out in 6 years or so. For that matter why would anyone entertain the thought that EDig would be interested in those kinds of "small" payments for that period of time even if an infringer, not on the legal radar, called out of the clear blue sky and asked to settle for licensing fees.
If you think that is going to happen then you have less common sense and even less business sense then you should have and most likely DM would block the deal.......How do you know the infringing company is going to be around in 5 years???
DM RUNS THE SHOW COMPLETELY.....NO IFS AND OR BUTS.....EDIG IS NOT MAKING ANY LEGAL DECISIONS ONLY TECHNICAL IMPUT AND VERY LITTLE OF THAT.
