You have confused the issue that was discussed in my post to the nth degree. I will explain it to you one more time.

In my post we were discussing whether Congress should order drilling in Alaska and Coastal regions to satifsy your SU craze, or should they mandate car makers to make cars that give 30 miles per gallon, which will acheive the same result as getting all the oil in Alaska preserve and the Coastal regions?...

I was merely expressing my hope that Congress would take the alternate plan of requiring car makers to come out with more small cars getting 30 miles per gallon like the Toyota Corrola which selling like the hot cakes now, while General Motors and Ford are just changing to compete with it...
