Consider this question. Why would the oil companies want to drill for new oil at this time? They're making a ton of money with the status quo. Why change anything? They're building nothing but straw men when they protest about not being able to drill or build new refineries. Congress is playing right into their hands and what's more, I think they know it. I don't think it makes a damn bit of difference which party is in power, either. A pox on both houses.
