think about it...

edig stands alone....they state 174 possible companies involved.
For that, other than a company wanting to get into the business, it would seem the bulk of the industry is a potential un friendly buyer.
Perhaps a negotiated settlement with a buyer, as some have pointed out is in the wings.
With that, we get...yet two more possible types of buyers.
A virgin start-up buyer, or ....
someone from within the industry with an established presence wanting to side step legal issues through a packaged negotiated buy, possibly with a license to cover established brand presence.
This thing could go a lot of ways....truly a wild card.
26 mill + settlement, might look cheap to own a chunk of the digital image CE market without any IP memory encroachment.
Perhaps Syntax has identified what is at issue and will be looking for a premium to step aside, to say, an Olympus company.
Any thoughts on a Syntax package? I would say they're in the right spot, they would just need to wait for the buyer to pay the premium for the package.
It will be worth whatever a buyer thinks its worth. Have Syntax and edig climbed into bed? lol
If not edig should approach them...
