Row 44 Announces Strategic Relationship with Hughes Network Systems

Malibu, CA, September 22, 2004 — Row 44, a provider of data communication services and equipment to the aviation industry, today announced an agreement with Hughes Network Systems (HNS), the world’s leading provider of satellite broadband solutions, to bring broadband connectivity to North American commercial and business aircraft.

HNS’ DIRECWAY broadband satellite platform is the world’s leading satellite solution for businesses, governments and consumers, with more than 750,000 systems delivered to customers in 85 countries. DIRECWAY is available on all continents, either via HNS’ own Network Operation Centers (NOCs), or through its growing family of value-added service providers.
