From what mguru has posted on this subject, it appears to me that the ONLY way a small investor can protect themselves from the naked shorting doom and gloom is to hold no shares of any OTC stock (i.e., stocks where transactions are manipulated, er, executed by MMs).

There is no way of knowing if the company whose shares you own is a naked short target or whether such positions are being/have been taken. If it is a target, there`s nothing you can do about it, and any attempt of escape will be thwarted until your investment is virtually worthless.

Now isn`t all that encouraging? This is why I resent these posts. Zero evidence that any of this discussion is pertinent to EDIG. None.... Yet the thread goes on.

Wouldn`t mind so much if there were and ``OT`` in the subject line and some sort of disclaimer accompanying these posts, like: ``There is Zero evidence that any of this discussion is pertinent to EDIG``. But, as is, it`s borderline bashing by way of suggesting, merely through posting it here, that EDIG may be a target and, hence, a very poor investment.

In fact, I`d go as far as to say that, per the last sentence above, the repeated posting of this info which could easily be perceived as derogatory to EDIG, could be part of the very same scam (i.e., scare investors into selling thereby improving a short position).

mguru, I suspect you`re heart is in the right place and the above is not your intent, but please stop posting this stuff here, or add disclaimers as suggested above.

TIA,

SGE
