It's been awhile but I seem to remember that Jones Day was one of the firms eDigital was considering during the selection of law firms that would represent them. They of course decided on Duane Morris. I'm sure there was a variety of criteria that brought them to that conclusion but I know eDigital was concerned about conflicts where firms were already representing clients that had been identified as infringers. This may be a prime example of one such conflict of interest and why Jones Day was not considered to represent us.
