I've passed a few in my time although nothing like a quarter inch. It's a wonder those suckers got through the ureter. I had one smashed while it was still in the kidney..... simple painless procedure. I passed the remnants with no discomfort either. I assume your urologist is calling for x-rays at least every 6 months....maybe more often. Then you can hit it before it enters the ureter. Once they enter the ureter, it can get real ugly.

My Doc says I'm a prolific "producer". Apparently you are too. Drink lots of fluids. Even beer will help during the passing process (according to my Doc).
