Unfortunately our leaders are reactionary vs proactive where the market is concerned. Lots of blood letting before the bandaids appear. I'm not saying the feds move is just a bandaid, but it does not address the average Joe who lost it already as you said. Something must be done for these folks!

I'm not in favor of more gov't intervention, nor the dept being left to our kids and grand kids, but it's better than red ink in my portfolio from a purely selfish point of view, which needs a complete GREEN paint job before I am back to Oct last year.

I applaud them none the less.
