MAS provides the hardware platform and underlying software infrastructure within which

FlightStore’s software functions. The MAS Platform accounts for a significant proportion of the

worldwide IFE systems market.

Each IFE system fitted to aircraft consists of an in-seat LCD monitor of between six and ten inch

screen size with a processor beneath each seat. A cabin network links the seats together and a central

file server is linked to the aircraft’s SATCOM system. Typically the passenger interface is via a

controller stored in the seat arm.

FlightStore’s services are currently dependent on the software platform developed and maintained

by AIL and for the ongoing maintenance of current brand partners’ sites. FlightStore has an

agreement from AIL for the provision of its software and services until 31 December 2004 and the

Directors believe, given the relationship with Ian Walberg, a large shareholder in AIL, that

ongoing extensions of this agreement should be secured. However, the Company is exposed to the

failure of AIL. Similarly, the software developed by AIL and used for the FlightStore offering

currently only operates on the MAS Platforms so the Company is again exposed to any failure or

decline of the MAS Platforms in the future.

Airborne Interactive Limited

AIL is a software solutions provider to the interactive seat-back television market. AIL is under

exclusive contract to FlightStore for the development of in flight retailing software. Ian Walberg, AIL’s

founder and managing director, is a shareholder and the Technical Director of Flightstore Group.

AIL has extensive experience of the MAS Platforms and a close relationship with MAS, as a third party

software developer. AIL has been and continues to be closely involved with the development of MAS’s

latest generation of systems, both the System 3000i and eFX. AIL is widely known throughout the

airline community and has a reputation for both the reliability of its product and on-time delivery.
