Oh please...it's a Democratic congress and they took his 3 page offering and molded it themselves....and attempted add pork....and got busted.
Did they vote his bill offering up or down?
No.
And it was under a Clinton (Nov '99) administration, on his way out of office that the rules were changed from what FDR put in place after the crash of 1929.
Oh yeah, they can just raise taxes on the rich....that's anybody with a job.
