e.Digital Corporation (OTCBB: EDIG), a leading innovator of patented flash memory-related technology and dedicated portable inflight entertainment (IFE) systems announced today that it has filed patent infringement lawsuits against Avid Electronics, Casio America, LG Electronics USA, Nikon, Olympus America, Samsung Electronics America, and Sanyo North America in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Samsung is on the stump. They are the #1 CE company in the world. Casio, LG (Lucky Goldstar), and Nikon are also large companies.

I beleive ole DM is going for the throat with this list. IMO, the tier 2 folks will be the likes of TI and Intel chips.
