Richard:...

You said...

"and again the pps will not be a function of any positive earnings, but rather how the market will look at the future revenue stability and growth opportunity."...

And therein lies the complexity of predicting what the pps shall be in next 6 months, a year, or two years from now...

FIRST:...

We begin with an agreement that there has been VALIDATION of EDIG'S "Monetization" of its intellectual property...

SECOND:...

Let us agree that for practical purposes, if EDIG follows its own Business Plan modled after Qualcom, the bulk of its revenue shall be derived from sale of its IP, and for the foreseeable immediate future we should not rely on any great plan that EDIG will be replacing Samsung or Sony as the next big manufacturer of electronic widgets...

THIRD:...

Accordingly, for the next couple of years at least, any analysis of what the pps will be in the immediate future shall be dependant on what DM moneys will end up in EDIG coffers as the result of the DM activities in the "Settlement" arena before the Markman Hearing date set in 2010...

So, it gets clearer if you start from the proposition that any "stability and growth" of the future revenues for EDIG is for the most part dependant on "Settlement" monies, we are left with seeking an ANSWER to the following 2 questions:...

1) How would the Market, (what is left of it), respond to big ($100 million or so catagory), or small, (5-10 million or so catagory), "Settlements"?...

2) How would the market react to a "one time settlement" as opposed to an "on-going revenue stream settlement" ?...

IMO EDIG may seem immune to the "financial crisis" of the day. But, it is not an island to itself. A market hit hard by the current crisis and starving for "Home" to park iots money in, will find a little company getting "BIG settlements" from some giants of the industry will decidely perceive it as a sign of "revenue stability" and may well get the pps in the $5.00-$10.00 range by the Markman Hearing date provided the "Settlements" volume is increased in a steady manner going to 2010...

And you can write that one down also...Lol...Lol...

Gil...
