eeProductCenter (10/10/2008 9:32 AM EDT) San Jose, Calif.—Toshiba America Electronic Components Inc. (TAEC) said it is the first Japanese semiconductor manufacturer to develop a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 core-based microcontroller (MCU), the TMPM330FDFG.
TAEC leveraged the Cortex-M3 core to create a high-performance, low-power general-purpose MCU with large flash memory, real time clock, 10-bit A/D converter, 3-channel SIO/UART and packaged in an LQFP package. These features make the TMPM330FDFG well suited for use in consumer, industrial, security system and low power applications. With an operating frequency of 40MHz, the TMPM330FDFG achieves low power consumption of about 15mW, and fast programming/erasing speed of approximately two seconds. The TPMP330FDFG has an integrated 12-channel A/D converter to enable high-speed conversion of analog data from various sensors in 1.15 microseconds. Pricing: $6 each in 10K quantities. |
