I agree. The 25 Sep 08 announcement reads,

"e.Digital Corporation (OTC: EDIG), a leading technology innovator of dedicated portable entertainment systems and patented flash memory-related technology announced today that a major electronics manufacturer has purchased the first license for its Flash-R™ patent portfolio."

IMO, that's the whole enchilada since they specified the "portfolio". A patent portfolio isn't a single patent. And we were suing them for infringement of 4 of our 5 patents, not just the 774 patent.
