It appears that the reference to Astronics is somewhat meaningless, since they are apparently one of three existing providers of in-seat power systems (that we can easily ``hook up`` with - compatibility).

And apparently the incorporation of all the new ``bells and whistles`` is going to take a long while (though I`m still thinking that it cannot be THAT far out, time wise, with my assumption that this has been the focus of the talented engineers at EDIG for many months, and most of the complimenting technology already exists. Smoke screen?).

Still a bit frustrated by the time line, and the possible ramifications re: nearer term sales of digEs. But I really like the half cost (and lighter weight) aspect - that has to be getting attention, as well as the serviceability/in flight easy replacement attributes.

As far as announcements... Doesn`t it seem a little weird that they mention IcelandicAir, but still haven`t acknowledged those two Aussie/Asian airlines that have made their own announcements (via media)? Getting on my marketing soapbox again....doesn`t it seem that it would in Wencor`s best interest to announce each and every new adopter as a promotional tool? Businees begets more business!

And I KNOW nuttin`!
