Pretty simple to me.....At the SHM I personally asked that question to PN. He replied with the same answer he gave to the entire gathering, "774 was the easiest to prove infringement on" I asked him about the remaining patents and his words were "We can/will revisit a company for other patent infringements after we have the initial settlement under our belt"
A few have questioned here as to why the entire group of 5 patents were not gone after in the initial lawsuit. I believe the answer is the same as above, 774 was very easy to prove, not time consuming, cheap and fast. If the other patents were included I do not think these settlement would be quite as quick or easy.
LG many have looked at their options, been given a "deal" and decided to get it over with, for all the patents they infringed on.
Who knows???? I do know what was told me from RP and PN but things do change.
