FWIW I have it on good authority that Panasonic does not have a portable platform and will not have one ready by fall... it just isn`t possible. Maybe by next spring... but that`s a year away and hopefully Wencor will have made significantly more inroads in the portable IFE market by then. I believe Panasonic was grandstanding, trying to steal our thunder and get the airlines to look for an alternative to the digEplayer. MAS thinks that when they bark, all the dogs will come running. Won`t happen this time.
