Linux is necessary in order for this system to have internet capability, among other things. The system is becoming interactive and that requires an OS.

I sure would like to see the contractual arrangement between APS and EDIG. Wencor bought APS and likely all the contractual arrangements and obligations with EDIG.

Since the digEsystem is based on the digEplayer, EDIG has a role, imo, that goes beyond just being hired help.

Their patented encryption technology is at the heart of this, imo, and also likely a basis for the content providers allowing their content to be distributed.
