MOS does not manage energy.....that savings is a direct benefit of the MOS because of it`s segment structure along with novel methods to traverse the structures....it has less overhead in management than a typical system...ie; Inode system(UNIX type)which is what Linux is....and FAT schemes or MSFT schemes.
With that its media format is not typical of the two above
