I totally agree, but I'm not like others who have high expectations that EDIG will net anything from the LG settlement.

Nobody knows how much money DM has fronted to get this far. If the settlement is large enough to just break even, that would be a huge victory in itself.

When we got our $1,200 stimulous check, the wife said, "what should we do with it?" I said "lets go buy an energy efficient fridge from Sears before our old one breaks and we are sitting here with food rotting until the new one arrives."

After rebates, the sale price etc, it cost us $1,350, and my electric bill went down $50/month!!! The fridge is paying for itself in 27 months.

If the LG settlement clears to books of debt on DM's side, we are in terrific shape from then on. If there happens to be some change left over, EDIG should buy a new fridge.
