It got away...

Here is what the PR said...

"Under the terms of the confidential agreement, Casio obtained a license and release on all e.Digital foreign and domestic patent rights, including the Company's Flash-R(TM) patent portfolio, and e.Digital obtained a license and release on any Casio patents that cover e.Digital's current product line."

Note the following:

1) Casio has far more products that may be covered by EDIG patent than LG did...

2) The release covers both domestic and Foreign rights of EDIG.

3) The cross licensing is also more significant...

We will know by the time 10Q is released for quarter ending Decmber. But, I am willing to wager a bottle of Jordan Cab. that the settlement shall be bigger than that with LG...
