longtimelurker2, you seem to get enjoyment out of spreading doubt about EDIG. Today we get an announcement about a second settler, who is mentioned by name in the PR unlike the first settlement PR, and all you can do is speculate that EDIG did not receive any money in the settlement. As others have pointed out, do you think DM agreed to the Casio settlement solely for the cross-licensing of patents? Newsflash: DM is not in the audio/video technology business. They’re in the ‘make money through litigation’ business. DABOSS posted that he received confirmation from Mr. Putnam that a fee was received from Casio and I posted earlier today that I sent Robert Putnam an e-mail which read,
“Congratulations on the Casio settlement! The Casio press release has no mention of a ‘one-time fee’ received like the LG Electronics press release had. Can you tell me if we received money as part of the Casio settlement? Thanks.”
Mr. Putnam responded in about 10 minutes,
“Yes…it will be included in our next 10Q.”
There’s nothing ambiguous about that answer, no matter how you try and spin it. Why would you speculate that EDIG made no money in the settlement, all the while knowing it would disrupt this board, when you had no facts to support your far-fetched opinion? Rather, why wouldn’t you try and contact the company, have your question answered as mine was within minutes, and post the results of your inquiry. The reason is obvious to all here, no matter how much you blather to the contrary. When the third, fourth and fifth settlement PR’s come, will you continue to harp on unfounded FUD? Just curious so I can get my ‘delete message trigger finger’ prepped and ready to go.
I have no problem with a difference of opinion on this board but when a question has been asked and answered, and it continues to be brought up in a purposeful attempt to create uncertainty here and cause disruption, I start having a problem. Apparently Agora does too as it violates one of their rules. You pretend to be an interested investor but never bring any facts to the board or anything positive to say about EDIG. Even in light of a second settlement announcement, you only find fault with EDIG and the wording of their PR. That is not normal behavior from a true investor. Your ‘EDIG sucks’ approach at questioning press releases follows suit with many well-known bashers on other boards. In fact, a few months ago Heybrad from Raging Bull tried posting here and lasted a day or two before Agora gave him a boot up his arse. LOL. Looking in my MOS-powered crystal ball, I see the same rosy end in your future Sparky.
