I do watch this venue and compliment all those who bring factual information, insight, and explanations regarding the technology, our competition, and the legal proceedings in which we're engaged.
Every settlement reached is a step towards an eventual higher share price. The infringers are all watching as eagerly as each of us shareholders. For us, each settlement is a plus and for them a minus.
On another subject, I liken our ongoing settlements and improvements in our future to the opposite of what is happening to our nation's enemies that are oil exporters. Each incremental decline in the price per barrel of oil wrecks havoc on the already strained economies of Iran, Venezuela, and Russia.
Currently, IMO, it's the only positive politically-economic event now taking place that could benefit our nation and the citizens of those countries who might eventually overthrow their oppressors. Examine for a moment the links between Russia, Venezuela, Iran, and soon to be invited Cuba. Why Cuba? Many oil geologists believe there is likely to be huge offshore oil fields within Cuba's maritime boundaries. Recently there has been no better unifying link to global partnerships than ownership of oil and access to oil consuming countries.
Of course each of these countries are controlled by ruthless dictators, but I believe continued low oil pricing will thwart their efforts to harm our nation.
Sorry to deviate to geo-political-economic issues, but there is nothing like stabilizing the world and its economies so that all shareholders will have a place to capitalize on their profits from eDig.
A Happy and Healthy 2009 and a very Merry Christmas to all.
