As you so often put it, that remains to be seen. The current strategy providing revenues to EDIG's bottom line is its intellectual property effort, not EVU sales. They were last year's story that resulted in a record year in revenue.
This past year has been all about DM's efforts with three settlements either in the books or on approach...with more pending.
Now if they can get both models occurring simultaneously, that would be even better, but until they can "sell something" for a profit, there is no point...hence they need a significant market opportunity to evolve for the eVU....which is quite possible.
However, in this economic climate, the legal efforts defending their patent portfolio is a nice place to be....especially with only 3 down and hundreds to go.
