PTSC is in the art of implementing the simplest and cheapest memory(8bit to start) and make it preform and compete at levels of the status quo high bit memories.

They both have something to offer, however, for me, it's the direct utilization of memory I'm invested in....not processor stacks that allow cheap memory to be used.
