Companies- possible infringers- must be reviewing and be aware of the on-going suits as well as their vulnerability to legal action. Of course anything is possible, but this settlement could be with a co. that has weighed the likely outcome and found it prudent to come forward and make a settlement offer and for-go any litigation expense. I like surprises! BWDIK! HML!
