It could also be that EDIG didn't want LG's name in the PR...

Remember how some here were disappointed when we did find out through PACER it was LG and EDIG settled for 'only' 1.6M?

How did the PPS react upon the news of the first announcement, then it was discovered who settled, and for how much?

(With many who were upset forgetting that it was said the first would get a deep discount, but subsequent licenses would not get as much of a 'discount'.)

I still strongly feel the value will be in the cross-licenses (in the future) as well as the IFE / and other 'entertainment solutions' to be provided.....

and I'm not as sure as LL that Nikon is the recent settlement, since it has NOT actually been put in writing, on PACER or by a PR, as such.
