RE...ON ECONOMY as it relates to EDIG...

I have been chucKling at all the gloom and doom popping on these pages...

NORTEL going bankrupt is a sign of a PARDIGM SHIFT we have been predicting since day one I got into EDIG over 10 years ago...

Heck even an old guy like me took my land line of 42 years and added it to my Blackberry Storm. Who needs land based telephone equipment any longer...

Being constitutionally an OPTIMIST I refuse to beleive that we are in bad economic times because of happenstance...

I beleive the Global economic shift is, or should be, a designed method of changing gears to accomodate A TURNING POINT in human development that is forced upon us through unabshed massive consumption of resources...

Fritzoff Capra predicted all this in his 1982 book "TURNING POINT". When the rest of humanity, (CHINA, INDIA, RUSSIA, SOUTH EAST ASIA), joind in the consumption that was the hall mark of the west's industrial revolution of the 19th Century, it became clear that EARTH would not be able to sustain an economy based on 19th century "INDUSTRIAL AGE" consumption. The 25 years that have lasped since the publication of CAPRA'S book have only proved the point...

I choose to beleive this is not gloom and doom. This is the dawn of the NEW AGE. And as DABOSS aptly observes, you are inveted in a stock that coming into the NEW AGE in solid shape, with technology that is relevant to the times...

So cheer up all ye gloomsters... When the electric cars of the future, (which are being made in abig hurry by the car makers as we speek), hit the road, EDIG will be right in the midst of things instead of becoming obsolete like NORTEL...
