Speaking of turkeys...

My dog has been trained to go to the mail box, (about couple of hundred yards from our door step), and get the morning paper every morning...

This morning he came back with a big Turkey held in his mouth...

Fortunately for the turkey, as Labs are, he has a soft mouth and had not killed the beast. I let it fly away...

We have great numbers of them in our hills overlooking Santa Rosa. They were introduced in the area by the FISH and GAME Department several uears ago, and they have mushroomed, eating all the worm and bugs in the Area. F & G people come once every year and net some to keep the population under control.

Heck, if we have a major Earth Quake, we could live on turkeys for a long time...
