"Has any penny stock become a big company"

I have no idea as to the validity of the facts stated back and forth in this article but I am deeply concerned and have been for years as to the statements of "penny stocks being shorted, merclessly, by MM's to the point of disappearing.....out of business...etc...

EDig is a penny stock. EDig has enough positive, factual news to create a positive climate for the rise of it's PPS but is stuck at $.10 or less. When ever good, financial news happens to EDig there is almost no positive reaction and I sit in wonderment when I see a negativisms rear their ugly heads. I understand the "shorting" not allowing those who have shorted, especially "naked shorting" to allow EDig to rise and those "nefarious assh+les" have to cover.

I find that very troubling and do know from my experiences as a broker, highly unusual if speaking of an established, non penny stock company. If good news happens the "Green Eyeshade Boys" factor into the bottom line and the stock of that company reacts.

I have always resisted any "conjecture" that EDig is being overly controlled by MM's, shorters, naked shorters, etc.......There was simply no proof, in my mind, as to why ANYONE would short a $.10 stock where the profit they could make was very finite, $.10 and their loses could go to infinity. It simply made no sense to me. However I chide myself for not taking into account just how averise and controlling these people are.

No matter what, these "dudes" are not going to let go, as long as they can drop the Share Price on a trade of 100 shares between themselves not matter what the news.

This is one of the only negative posts you will see me post. I hope it is meaningless. However, we will have to have some big, big news to break the cycle.

As RP stated to me a number of times, (paraphrase) "The Markman hearing is the most important part of dealing with the infringers. This is what we are pointing for, a successful Markman hearing. After that the settlements will be huge in comparison to LG's"

I don't think we will see any meaningful results until that occurs.....if then and if the "shorters" find they have lost control and have to cover...
