The Lincor story

Early days

Lincor's story has been one of success. Conceived in a tech friendly environment in Ireland shortly after the Millenium, we have gone from strength to strength gaining customers all over the world while refining and perfecting our product offering. We have augmented this with a consultancy service designed to give the customer the best service and support in our area of expertise.

In March 2003, Lincor was founded and we completed testing on the first version of MEDIVistaTM in June of that year. This was then implemented with Premier TeleSolutions in the UK, who had been awarded a UK NHS Patient Power Licence to deploy and operate Patient Entertainment Solutions in UK National Health Service hospitals

The next month, Premier installed its first hospital in Doncaster. This product solution delivered analogue based TV and Telephone services. Since this first deployment, Lincor has continually developed MEDIVistaTM to create a fully digital system whereby all services are delivered over an IP infrastructure to include TV, Video on demand, Internet and Telephone. Secure access to Hospital Information Servers is also enabled using secure smart card technologies.

Early 2005 saw Lincor supplying software for over 6,000 bedside units across 13 hospitals in the NHS system.

European extension

With a constant eye on development and innovation, Lincor perfected its product offering for launch in the European market and were successful with the signing of their first mainland Europe contract deploy MEDIVistaTM at a 450 bed hospital near Milan in the autumn of 2006.

As 2007 dawned, Lincor won a contract with French partner Netlogon working with Airmedis to install its solution at 3 Clinics in Paris, part of the Generale de Sante group, France’s largest private health group.

The summer of 2007 proved a successful time for us with the winning of large contracts in both Malta (Mater Dei Hospital) and the Netherlands.

While our European campaign was gaining momentum, we didn't forget our roots and around the same time, as part of a competitive tender process, GE Healthcare awarded the contract to Lincor to deploy MEDIVistaTM at the prestigious Surgical Sports Clinic in Dublin, Ireland. This was a new facility specialising in the treatment of sports injuries.

Later that year, we launched MEDIVistaTM Set–Top Box – a low cost and easily deployed entertainment solution for use with LCD Televisions and announced initial contract details with the prestigious London Bridge Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare Group.

Cements its position as market leader

Around this time, Lincor really began to cement its position as market leader with new sites in HCA Healthcare group institutions at world renowned hospitals such as the Portland Clinic, Harley Street Clinic, Lister hospital and the Wellington.

In early 2008, the securing of our first major US contract announced our arrival in all markets with the rollout of our product in the Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Following this, we won contracts in France (NHR agency) and Spain before a serious expansion into Eastern Europe and the Middle East. In this region, we have already won contracts in both Bulgaria and Slovakia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
