Yep, Sinapore Air would get my vote as the best airline flying today. The attendants are usually quite easy on the eyes as well.
As for EDIG's IFE sales, I'm guessing they have had a little biz via service agreements at high margins, but not a lot of volume based on the IFE web sites and the general lack of new business in the industry. IMO, most airlines are just hanging on until they can size their business to a profit or go the way of the buggy whip. United may be the next one to fall -- lost over $1B with only $4B in revs last Q. They will all get a break with jet fuel prices for the short term, but not enough to drag them out of all the red ink.
With Willy out, Fred in, and not a lot of communication I'm not looking for home run numbers mid-Feb. I really hate to see Willy go as he had the resume to make something happen. Now, I believe we are looking to DM for our revs with everything else taking a back seat regardless of what is put out as an "expect" to or any other forward looking statement. We need to get the Wencor mess cleaned up and I believe they will. Then, as we see better market conditions, look for alternative revenue opportunies. I know EDIG has had it's toe in a few non-IFE ponds, so it is possible. Just not "soon" IMO.
