OT still, but Ronnie was quite the Man, and a no nonsense President.

Friends of my parents, who are both gone now, were big time GOP and contributors. They were invited to the White House to meet RR and attend a dinner. They shared the experince with us "kids." There daughter has all the pictures now.

Then there's my 83 year old friend Dean. 30 years in the Marines, and decorated by RR at a White House function for Vets. Dean served in Korea and Viet Nam. He made a trip on Air Force One with RR too!! Those pictures are on his fire place mantle. Dean was also a film maker in hollywood after the Marine career...even did a documentory on Linda Lovelace.

Dean had a stroke many years ago, and all he has use of is his left arm/hand, and can talk. He has 24/7 care at home. 7 days a week, his care givers bring him to a pub for 2 beers, so he can visit with his buddies. He has some amazing stories, loves to hear jokes and tell them. His daily goal is to make it to that pub and see all us guys. Making him smile is really cool.

Now, come on Monday EDIG.
