"Ha ha - I was thinking you must just be really, really tall."

I'm still a six footer....barely...after 75 years of disc compression. I was contemplating a full bass at one point but it's enough trouble lugging this one around. Take a gig in central city Philly or New York and it's a nightmare. There are times I had to fly and the sarcophagus I would have needed would have been too big, though, most of the time. I didn't take my bass and used one at the job site. Didn't like it....had rather used mine.
