RE: Just what is Rap Tap

I gotta believe that the name is simply having to do with Rap music (``Tap``ping into the radio). Maybe some sort of karioki thing for Rapper Wannabees. I wouldn`t think it has anything to do with the digE (wrong venue; with focus on video, not audio). Maybe something based on the Odyssey platform (small handheld). It has a voice recorder, but one could easily transmit recorded audio using an FM transmitter attachment (I got one so I could play music off my Odyssey on my car stereo). So I`m thinking realtime transmission on top of recorded background music (hence, karioki). Wonder what the distance limitations are....
This could be big in the USA where rap (which, IMO, requires very little real talent) has a huge youth following. Wannabees could have at it... In Asia (Japan), I believe karioki is still hot.
Catchy name - probably would catch on both places.
Brings thoughts of that Asian OEM.... And maybe something will happen on that front. One would think (with the seeming covert approach to business these days) they`d hold off on the Trademark filing till immediately prior to related product release (so as not to show their hand early).
But I KNOW nuttin`!
