I simply am at a lost for words where you are concerned.....No matter what the news you try your very best to turn it into a negative or insinuate the source of the news is not being forthcoming and therefore is false or misleading.

RP stated what he knows of IMS's attempt at controlling the IFE content market and you "down" him.

Does it make any sense to you, with your exceptional intellect, that the "content providers" would allow one company to completely control the IFE market? To make every other IFE provider dependent upon IMS. Even you would have a hard time making that case....

I would think the studios would recognize just what giving a "monopoly" to any company, much less IMS, would do to their business.

I would ask a question here but I am quite sure I will get your standard "NNN" if you would give an entire facet of your business to one company?

And IMS started into the IFE business, if you recall with a sharp memory and not one clouded with negative opinions, by selling American Airlines their verision of a portable IFE device which was an off the shelf laptop with the ports closed off. They loaded content as one would load a CD on any laptop.

Also, if you recall, the reason American Airlines selected IMS, was due to the "deal" given to it by IMS. (American is well known to be one of the cheapest companies around and was given (given) (almost free) their units by IMS.

I do not know the present status of American"s relationship with IMS but I am not aware of any large amount of IMS IFE units being used by American, but I am quite sure you have that answer at your fingertips...
