Is my cat reading the court's decision on the so called "non compete" clause, correctly?

The clause was so defective as to make it virtually impossible to interpret. As to the subsequent agreement ostensibly nulifying all previous agreements, the"non compete" issue was moot because, in a legal sense, it never existed to begin with.
