My response is, PRECISELY; that was/is the main attraction of having intellectual property that is in demand like that of EDIG. You have very low overhead, and besides counting the money on the way to the bank, you have to maintain an R&D department to help propagate usage of your intellectual property...

However, as we all know, there are a great many number of sinister characters out there that will do anything to fatten their pocket by down right stealing your technology, and you have to pay 40% to attroneys to act as your collection agents.

I started selling AT $13.5 and my lasy sell was in the $19ish, and when the dustsettled I had 11000 shares for free. But, I have enough faith in this little company, (as proven by recent develpoments after arrival of DM), that I am still buying every chance I get, even though I have had "Enough to Count" a long time ago...
