"Senator Feinstein explaining that as long as the bill favors only high-tech companies it has no chance of passing the full Senate. It is significant to note that Senators Specter and Feinstein seem to be on the same page, and Senator Hatch seemed somewhat upset and put off by the fact that consensus is desired, which could signal that high-tech will not be getting their wish list after all."

How can this Senator feel he can cherry pick a sector for patent changes?

Especially the idea of not allowing a current patent holder the ability to patent other issues off their ideas?

amazing

I've made comments in the past, to the effect, when solicited by i.e....Boyer......that the solicitor be given some form of benefiting, by patenting the application that will reside and interface to the base IP of e.Digital.

Post Boyer/Henson....I'm totally against that idea.....and e.Digital should patent all significant technical ideas, (unrelated to solicitor enterprise ideas), derived for it's own benefit.
