THE HISTORY OF THE CAMCORDER
The Camcorder was invented by an american inventor of the name of Jerome Lemelson in the 1980s. Jerome tried to patent the idea for a camcorder in 1977, but the United States Patent Office rejected his offer to do so. They said that the idea was too far fetched and that no companys could be available to manufacture the camcorder and sell the device.
The first camcorders that were made by Lemelson was picture tubes.
In 1983, a first one piece camcorder came out called the Sony Betamovie. This camcorder did not have much features such as the electronic viewfinder, or the playback capabilities
