Good question, and I look forward to their response and comments by others.

I'll share what RP stated at the SHM 9/17/08, when Pat put up the slide that had the 1st 8 listed, 1 more that was supposed to be blanked out, that had 184 total, when asked by an attendee why these 1st 8 were selected, and he commented "low hanging fruit."

Something came up about device makers and the various consumer electronic products, then chip makers. I left the meeting with the feeling that Tier 1 meant CE products, and Tier 2 the remainder. I also got the impression that Tier 1 were the easier cases to prove, and Tier 2 the tough ones. For sure, at the meeting, there was no clear definition for either.

We will need lots of help with this one!!
