I hear ya on that one....they are throwing a lot at it..

Would they feel that the general IFE patent scheme would be enough ? It covers the concept of the different layers of security....not the technical under pinning....but the generalities from the encode through to the decode and processor breach over ride.

Do you feel they need more than that ?

I feel they got plenty with what APS applied for....they`re in a sweet spot of their own and so is e.Digital with the under pinning...there is mutual benefit to both....e.Digital would not be able to reproduce the DigEplay/system endeavor and hand it to someone else...they(potential customer of e.Digital) would have to come up with their own configuration and specification of deployment....

IMO..going to be hard to beat APS ideas....I see potential for Wencor to license.
