They're after the controller principles, and not necessarily caring about the sophistication of the format logic or SmartFormat(there's a name for e.Digital to use).
We have a sophisticated format process with some 27 call functions on the original 445.....that they may have added to.
It may be they expect some of the infringers to buy the suffocated format as to trying to create their own.
If you read my prior post...now spin the portability issue over it...by devising the SmartFormat with the ability of attributes of any higher level OS. NO translation process inbetween....The PC interface can move files between PC RAM and the flash if needed, or manipulate the files directly on the flash with audio / video apps..
So how is MicroSD being formatted in those phones....with a SmartFormat or a Sandisk, Lexar type format translation interface?
