In the Norris /daberko original concept devices....they utilized NOR(Compact flash) form Sandisk, they also utilized Intel NOR units.
The Compactflash has a controller scheme by Sandisk directly on the the chip sitting in front of the memory, that preforms an address translation process for high level OS's for file management only. Files are translated and shadowed to the PC RAM for minipulation. Nothing like what e.Digital does.
Norris /Daberko devloped a memory format logic OS, having controller principles that interface with the format logic directly. They format the the Compactflash through their micro controller concept which bypasses the controller that Sandisk has on board the Compactflash, interfacing the read/write/erase functions of the flash, where their format logic is then infilled with files. With this process they can drive files directly off the CF , while having the ability of discrete manipulation of data segments directly within the CF.
There is no telling who is cheating, it doesn't have to be a Samsung memory manufacturer to manipulate Samsung memory components with concepts similar to e.Digitals.
But they are at the top of the list because they are memory producers.
