Based on what I have found via Google, EDIG is showing 14 employees. If my memory is correct, at the SHM 9/17/08, this question came up and I recall 16.

Their website under career opportunities, says "no open positions, we are fully staffed."

This does not answer your direct question concerning if we have the right people to "remain competitive" but that's not something that concerns me at this stage of their IP efforts. When the time comes that the X-lic comes into play, and marketing the eVU into non-airline customers, I'm sure they will add staff as required...IMO.
