Yes - correct, but doesn't the read have to initialize the controlers on the removable mem to work with it irregardlees of weather or not it works when pulled.

ie,.. it initialized the SD via write, but still holds the primary higher atrib of an initial read from a blank CF controler. imo the write would become an issue in T2.

I' could be way offtrack...
