There were 2 different projects with Intel as I recall, One as Emit aptly recalled was an MP3 player that was to be manufactured by Eastech. It fell apart as the Tech bubble burst and Intel withdrew from the consumer electronics marketplace, an area they never really entered in the first place.

The other product was a voice to text device called the Nuk. It was jointly developed by Lernout & Hauspe, Intel and us and utilized IBM's VTT - TTV technology. Intel invested 20M in the project: all of it went to L & H. As some of you may remember L&H was found guilty of cooking the books. Their shareprice went from around $55.00/ share to just about 0 overnight. Intel lost their grub steak and we were out a very promising product line. It was around the same time that Fred Falk made a very substancial exercise on his options that I believe cost him close to 1M in tax obligations.
